História webu sa začala, keď sa Frajer YKS a Macher T-Bone v Juni roku 1998 v kaviarni Poseidon na Dostojevského rade v Bratislave dohodli, že spravia web, Frajer and Macher Garage, ktorý sa bude zaoberať tuningom, oldtimermi a youngtimermi. Tak vznikla stranka frajerandmacher.sk. Stránka sa neskôr zmenila na garage.sk a ešte neskôr na autofunia.com.
